Bridges

Bridges can be a good subject for a photographer. They also remind me of Robert James Waller's book, The Bridges of Madison County, in which I cried buckets of tears after reading the novel.

Bridges evoke an aura of mystery and also a bit of history. Recently, my husband and I, with our cute little beagle, went on a 15-hour road trip from Virginia to Chicago. During our trip, I noticed that we passed a lot of old bridges. So, arming myself with my old trusty point and shoot Panasonic Lumix, I decided to take photos of some of the bridges we've passed by.
